Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How does PRS integrate with our existing teleradiology system?

Plains Radiology Services can interface with most existing teleradiology systems. We also use and recommend the advanced CIVIE teleradiology platform. Our IT team will evaluate your current setup and ensure seamless integration.

What is your report turnaround time?

We pride ourselves on prompt, reliable turnaround of reports. Teleradiology services are available 24 hours a day, every day. STAT studies receive priority handling and radiologists are reachable directly for urgent consultations.

Do your radiologists come to our facility?

Yes. In addition to teleradiology interpretation, our physician extenders attend medical staff meetings and perform routine on-site procedures. We also arrange continuing education for your staff.

What subspecialties are covered?

Our team covers neuroradiology, breast and body imaging, interventional radiology, women's imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, PET/CT, and general diagnostic radiology. Studies are assigned based on subspecialty availability.

How is quality maintained?

We run an ongoing QA peer review program using the ACR's eRADPEER platform. Each radiologist undergoes regular peer review, and our results benchmark favorably against top providers in the industry.

What does the contracting process look like?

We provide teleradiology services on a contractual basis with optional add-ons. Contact us to start a conversation about your facility's needs and we'll build a service arrangement that fits.

The speed of report turnaround and the ability to speak directly with radiologists sets Plains Radiology Services apart from other providers.
